Join us in Richmond, VA, to study and learn about some of the most practiced waza during our everyday keiko: Men and kote. Yutaro Matsuura sensei (7th Dan Renshi) will review the pitfalls we encounter when doing men and kote and fine-tune what needs to be emphasized to enhance these two techniques.
The participants will receive group and individual evaluations by Matsuura sensei and learn some advanced techniques, tactics, and elements of performing quality men and kote waza. They will also learn about different training methods, concepts, and more. They will also learn about men and kote in the dojo, at shinsa, and tournaments, as well as situation analysis, etc. Bring questions. “Come Curious, Leave Confident” is the slogan of our events.
The workshop will be followed by a godo-keiko to build relationships through crossing swords with all the participants.
